Scott’s reputation is as a mensch as well as a visionary and thoughtful pain in the backside. (Ask him, and he’ll tell you he’s simply a pain in the backside.) Scott previously co-founded wireless gaming leader JAMDAT Mobile with our other co-founders, Austin Murray and Zack Norman, where he served as its first CEO and President, Publishing. Despite Scott’s involvement, JAMDAT went public in October 2004 and was eventually sold to Electronic Arts for $680 million in February 2006. Prior to JAMDAT, Scott joined Activision in 1994, and became its VP, Studios, where he played video games for a living. (OK, he also helped integrate multiple mergers and acquisitions and represented Activision in its outward corporate sales.) Not surprisingly, Scott began his career in film and TV, most notably as a development executive at Tribeca Productions. Quite surprisingly, he graduated from Columbia University.
